Scientific studies have found that pure salt is anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, and has the ability to remove airborne pathogens. When you breathe in microscopic salt particles, the salt penetrates deep into the respiratory system to absorb toxins, allergens, and foreign substances. This allows mucus to be expectorated in an effective, health-improving fashion. It is recommended to wear comfortable and loose clothing. The salt room is a dry and somewhat cooler environment. Your skin and clothes may be covered in a thin layer of salt, but nothing significant if you are going back to work after your session. You will be asked to remove your shoes prior to entering the salt room in order to fully experience the detoxing benefits. Shoe covers, eye masks, and blankets are available for your use. We play a guided breathwork meditation at first, followed by soothing binaural beats for the remainder of the session. Be aware that there will be a soft grinding sound while the Halogenerator is disbursing the salt into the room. You are welcome to bring earbuds if you are going to use your phone. Halotherapy is recognized as a safe and effective wellness practice for preventive and restorative health care. It is natural, holistic, and does not have any negative side effects. It is safe for all ages and stages of life, including pregnancy. However, Halotherapy is not a medical treatment and does not offer a cure.
